Compliance with Ethical Standards

Data from the current study were collected in a clinical context as part of routine program evaluation and determined not to require ethics approval by a university institutional review board. This research was conducted in accordance with the International Ethical Guidelines for Health-related Research Involving Humans developed by the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences (CIOMS) in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO).

Consent to Participate

Owing to the clinical nature and program evaluation context of the current study, a university institutional review board determined that this study did not meet the definition of human subjects research.

Conflicts of Interest

The authors would like to note that the second author was also the classroom teacher in the current study, and that the first and third authors have served in various consultative and clinical roles in the school district in which the current study was conducted.
