Defining “Vulnerable” in coronary artery disease: predisposing factors and preventive measures

The presence of specific high-risk atherosclerotic plaque characteristics, namely high PB, low MLA, TCFA, high lipid core burden index, low attenuation plaque, spotty calcification, napkin-ring sign and positive remodeling of the vessel wall, is correlated with increased incidence of lesion-related MACE.
