We read with great interest the recent study by Chang et al. [1] on the development of a prediction model for progression of rheumatoid arthritis-associated interstitial lung disease (RA-ILD) using data from the prospective KORAIL cohort, which is a valuable contribution to the field. However, we have several methodological concerns that may affect the validity and generalizability of the findings.
