A 46-year-old woman presented to the emergency department with right elbow pain after falling down on an outstretched hand while descending the stairs. Physical examination showed right elbow swelling, tenderness and limited motion. The distal limb circulation and neurovascular function were unremarkable. Plain radiographs were obtained (figure 1).
