Prof. Dr. Lei Huang (ORCiD: https://orcid.org/0000–0002–4225–9200), Principal Investigator leading the "Digestive Inflammation-Cancer Transformation and Precision Diagnosis and Treatment" research group at the National Clinical Research Center for Digestive Diseases and National Key Laboratory of Immunity and Inflammation, is a distinguished expert in digestive oncology and digestive diseases (translational research, precision medicine, epidemiology, and clinical trials) and a "World's TOP 2% Scientist" according to ELSEVIER and Stanford University, with research foci encompassing: (A) mechanisms, interventions, and precision prediction of gastrointestinal inflammation-cancer transformation; (B) precision prediction of therapeutic sensitivity and tumor immune microenvironment-based mechanistic exploration in gastrointestinal malignancies; (C) innovative biological, immune, and targeted therapies for digestive cancers. His work has impacted guideline updates by NCCN, ESMO, International Pancreatic Cancer Coalition (IPCC), and the Chinese Guidelines for Comprehensive Pancreatic Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment. Graduating with a Ph.D. (Summa Cum Laude) from Heidelberg Medical School, Heidelberg University, Germany, he has conducted research at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), the US NIH/National Cancer Institute (NCI), and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
