Maria Victoria Souto-Silva is a doctoral candidate at the Interdisciplinary Biosciences Laboratory, University of Brasília, Faculty of Medicine, Brazil. Her research focuses on skin barrier biology, immunology, mechanisms of epithelial repair, and the development of formulations that deliver active compounds through topical application. She has a particular interest in the optimized delivery of antitumor drugs into the skin, as adjuvant therapies for melanome.
