This study uses three proprietary datasets. (i) Pharmacy invoice microdata are available for purchase from OFAC, the Swiss Pharmacists’ Professional Association. (ii) The pharmacy survey microdata are confidential and can only be accessed on site at the Swiss Economic Institute (ETH Zurich) under a supervised setting and data-use agreement. (iii) Physician data are available under license from SASIS AG. Legal and contractual restrictions prevent public sharing of these microdata. Interested researchers may request access directly from the respective data owners; documentation on variables and data construction is available from the author upon reasonable request and subject to the providers’ approval.
