Wenxue Ma, MD, PhD, is a distinguished specialist in Immuno-Oncology and serves as a physician-scientist at the University of California, San Diego. He earned his MD and PhD from Zhejiang University, China, with research focusing on Cancer Immunology, Cancer Immunotherapy, and Cancer Stem Cells. In 2013, he discovered cancer stem cell markers in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL), leading to the patents WO2013044164 and WO2022165398 for cancer treatment. In 2020, he identified tumor antigen sequences with enhanced immunogenicity over the natural survivin peptide sequence.
